I …… surrender and consecrate to the most Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ, myself whole and entire, my life, my actions, my difficulties and sufferings, so that, for the future, I may employ myself entirely for His honor and glory. It is my firm and determined resolution to belong entirely to Him, to do all for His love, and to renounce, from my heart, everything that might be displeasing to His Divine Heart.
Therefore, O Most Holy Heart, I choose Thee as the only object of my love, to be the protector of my life, the certainty of my salvation, the support of my weakness, and atonement for all the faults of my life. O Heart of meekness and goodness, be Thou my sure refuge in the hour of my death, my justification before God, and turn away from me the scourges of His just wrath.
Oh Heart of love, in Thee I place my whole confidence. On account of my wickedness, I fear the worst, but in Thy goodness I hope for the best. Thus then, destroy in me whatsoever could be able to withstand or displease Thee. May Thy pure love be so deeply engraven in my heart, that I may never forget or be separated from Thee.
Heart of Jesus, I beseech Thee, through Thy infinite goodness, that my name be most intimately connected with Thee, for in Thy service I hope to live and die. Amen.

There are several ways to carry out your devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus:
1. Acts of Consecration and Reparation — Personal or family consecrations to the Sacred Heart, along with prayers and sacrifices offered in reparation for sins against His love.
2. Veneration of the Image — Exposing and honoring images of the Sacred Heart (the 9th Promise)
3. The Holy Hour of Reparation — Spending one hour in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament on especially between Thursday and Friday.
4. First Friday Devotion — Receiving Holy Communion on the first Friday of each month in a spirit of reparation to the Sacred Heart (the 12th Promise).
5. Enthronement of the Sacred Heart in the Home — Placing an image of the Sacred Heart in a prominent place in the home and formally consecrating the family/home to Jesus’ Sacred Heart.
