St. Michael Parish celebrated a beautiful and grace-filled Easter Vigil Mass in 2026, the most sacred night of the Church’s year, when we rejoice in Christ’s victory over sin and death.
During the sacred Triduum of Holy Thursday and Good Friday, we, the family of St. Michael Parish, entered more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s saving mission.
St. Michael Parish joyfully celebrated Palm Sunday, a sacred moment that marks the beginning of Holy Week. On this day, we entered into the mystery of our Lord’s Passion by first accompanying Him in triumph, carrying palms and proclaiming “Hosanna,” in procession and then listening to the solemn proclamation of His suffering and death. In this liturgy, joy and sorrow meet, revealing the depth of Christ’s love and the mystery of our salvation.
On Sunday, March 29th, our youth core leadership held its first meeting, with five adult supervisors present. Together, they prayerfully reflected on the vision of this ministry and shared several concrete and practical ideas for its growth.
On Saturday, March 21, our Confirmation students came together to clean the entire church in preparation for the upcoming Easter celebration. We give thanks for their kindness and dedication, and we are very proud of their faith and generous service.
We are proud to share that Bedford resident and St. Michael Parishioner Lisa Bumbaca-O’Brien has been inducted into the Silver Circle of the New England chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, recognizing more than 35 years of outstanding work at WBZ-TV Boston. Throughout her distinguished career, she has contributed to major news coverage, mentored others in the field, and remained a dedicated member of our local community. At St. Michael Parish, Lisa serves as a Eucharistic Minister and is a member of the Arimathea Society. We congratulate her on this well-deserved honor and thank her for her witness of dedication, professionalism, and service. We, the parish of Saint Michael, are people who are united in faith and nourished at the Eucharistic table. As members of God’s family, we strive to grow in our daily commitment to be Christ to one another.
We welcome all who—in their wholeness and brokenness—seek to deepen their faith life. With the Commission of Christ as our mandate, we respond to His command to teach all peoples through the expression of our Catholic Faith in our religious education programs and outreach ministries.
We pray for God’s help and guidance in our ongoing mission of sharing His Gift of faith, and we welcome you to join us!
